Fokker F VIIa  1928

After a thorough investigation of the wing carried out by us and Fred Pelder  (the Curator-in-Charge) we concluded that the damage to the main spars in the centre-section was so serious that immediate action was necessary.

In preparation for the restoration a full set of documentation was prepared including the true origins of this particular wing and its history. As there are also no original production drawings known to exist we took the opportunity to rectify this situation and produced a complete new set.
The 19m wingspan means this is the biggest aircraft structure we have worked on so far.
